Although often described as falsified, Billy Meier's photos are used on the entire world in press and television for illustration of reports about UFOs. Characteristically is, that Meier's copyright is regularly ignored and he in all the past years has only in approximately three cases received a few “Swiss francs” in royalty.

Obwohl vielfach als Fälschung bezeichnet, werden Billy Meiers Photos auf der ganzen Welt in Presse und Fernsehen zur Illustration von Berichten über UFOs verwendet. Bezeichnend ist, dass Meiers Copyright regelmässig missachtet wird und er in all den vergangenen Jahren lediglich in rund drei Fällen ein paar 'Fränklein' an Tantiemen erhalten hat.
